Janitorial Direct started working with West Midlands Safari Park in 2005. After nearly 20 years of consistent, first-class service, Janitorial Direct now also works with their sister company Drayton Manor Resort.

 

 

About the parks

West Midland Safari and Leisure Park is a popular attraction located in the town of Bewdley and is home to over 165 species of exotic animals from white lions and cheetahs to lemurs and elephants. 

 

The park now offers visitors the once-in-a-lifetime experience to stay at Safari Lodges, giving guests a chance to get up close to nature in an immersive overnight wildlife experience. They also have a new educational department with their purpose-built Safari Academy which provides curriculum-linked activities.

 

Drayton Manor Resort is a theme park and zoo in Staffordshire which offers a fantastic day out for the whole family. The park features thrilling rides, restaurants, shops, accommodations and a zoo. The zoo is home to over 500 animals, including several endangered species.

Their team of operatives take care of everything first thing in the morning, before the park's opening and guests' arrival. All staff are CRB checked and highly trained in specialist waste management, and the same operatives attend each time which means the client does not need to assign staff to show them around. 

 

Janitorial Direct also provide contacts that are available 24/7 in the event of an emergency, leaving clients safe in the knowledge that they have expert support available in any event. The parks are regularly checked by Janitorial Direct’s management team to support meticulous quality control.

Over the years, the partnership between the parks and Janitorial Direct has developed and grown strong - rooted in the understanding and expectation of consistent trust, reliability, flexibility and the capacity to go above and beyond when needed. 

 

Janitorial’s flexibility means they can customise their service offering to help the parks remain as efficient as possible - for example during the winter months, they have adjusted to support when attendance levels are lower than in the summer season. 

 

When it comes to the new Drayton Manor Resort contract, Janitorial Direct has offered its expert facilities management knowledge to support operational improvements in various ways, from different working practices to varied types and amounts of waste collection bin locations.
